The Center of Optics Technology at the University of Applied Science is part of the School of Optics & Mechatronics. It is equipped with a full optical fabrication and metrology chain and serves in parallel as a technology transfer center, to provide area industries with the most up-to-date technology in optical fabrication and engineering. Research and application in the field of MRF is related on one side to support small and medium companies in using MRF for their special needs, on the other side on doing basic research on sophisticated user applications.
